Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 09-15 May 2022.

The theme this year is ‘loneliness’.

Loneliness affects many of us at one time or another and can cause poor mental health, or be as a result of poor mental .

Mental Health UK are encouraging us to connect this Mental Health Awareness Week so that together, we can:

  • Raise awareness of the links between poor mental health and loneliness
  • Provide safe and welcoming spaces to talk and support each other
  • Upskill people to use technology and keep in touch with loved ones
  • Create an army of volunteers to support lonely people
